How DECA helped them-“ It’s actually crazy because I learned so much from deca that I use in my job today. I learned so much about how to identify your target market and create products based on the market. The 4 p’s too of course! Dr. Huffman is a wealth of information on how to run and market a business and I use so many of her tips every day.” Favorite DECA Memory-“ My favorite DECAmemory is going to California for ICDC! My friend Lindsey and I did a public relations presentation and manual on the American heart association.” |

Courtney StephensonProfession : “After I graduated from North Gwinnett High School in 2002 and Thomas Edison State University in 2006, I worked as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative in the Pediatric sales department. I now stay home with our 3 children and work part time selling travel for the Disney brand.”
How DECA helped them: “DECA taught me life valualable skills like being confident in public speaking, how to navigate interviews and being a team player in a work and personal setting.” |
